Sinking Steps Rising Eyes present their long awaited debut full length, a collection of songs, it's more inline with a musical composition; with traces of their roots in hardcore. Clocking in at over 40 minutes, the album feels organic and life like, songs seem to have personality. Vocals are few but each song seems to speak volumes. The album is as brutal as it is serene, with comparisons to bands like Denali, Isis, Mogwai, and the Blackheart Procession. When this record was pressed, 193 of the 350 records came back from the plant and had a scuff mark on them on the B-side (caused by the plants equipment), it didn't effect the playing of the record, but the plant sent another 193 as replacements so we set the scuffed ones set aside for a year until the band went out on their next (and final) tour Fall of 2005, we made 193 special tour covers with different artwork for them to sell and make some extra money on tour. These are the leftovers, as the band had to cut their final tour short because of a death in the family, and called it quits shortly thereafter. The regular version of this 7" is out of print, so grab one of these tour pressings while they last!

The first pressing of 300 was on white vinyl (sold out), the second (and final) pressing is limited to only 229 copies on blue vinyl!

It seems that Tornavalanche has once again struck paydirt with their newest EP "No Money, No Problems", a split release with Init Records and Level Plane Records. The double drummer action of Tornavalanche, sets a furious pace that the guitar players can barely keep up with. At times Tornavalanche's "No Money, No Problems" seems slightly derivative of Ten Grand or Forstella Ford, but evidently members of Tornavalanche did session work with these bands in the late '90s and into this century. "No Money, No Problems" sets a gold standard for the 2006 hardcore/indie/noise/double drummer genre, and considering the impending bull market in gold, you would be very wise to purchase multiple copies of this album. Limited to 500 copies - 100 on orange vinyl with blue splatter, 100 on blue vinyl with orange splatter, and 300 on black vinyl.
